INTERNATIONAL THERMAL SYSTEMS EXPANDS ITS MILWAUKEE, WI RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT CENTER WITH THE ADDITION OF NEW TEST WASHER
Milwaukee, WI, April 2017, International Thermal Systems, LLC, a global manufacturer of thermal processing industrial ovens, furnaces and washer systems announces the expansion of its Milwaukee, WI research and development center.
International Thermal Systems recently completed the addition of a new belt washer in its research and development center. A belt washer is the most universal type of cleaning machine available, and can effectively clean the majority of metal parts in all shapes and sizes.
“We are very excited about the additional capabilities that this new test washer gives us. Our customers will be able to visit our state-of-the art research and development center and see their parts cleaned in a real world environment. We sell more than just equipment. We sell solutions, and this new test washer further enhances our ability to design and validate those solutions for our customers”, explains Tom Stricker, General Manager, Washer Group.
The R&D center also houses drying ovens so the customer has the opportunity to test and validate the majority of the washing and drying process before the equipment leaves ITS. All fine tuning can be completed before the equipment ships reducing any down time once installed.
In 2013, ITS acquired Continental Equipment Corporation. The acquisition expanded ITS’ industrial parts washer line to include Belt, Cabinet, Monorail and Rotary Drum Washer Systems in addition to Pallet and Case Washer Systems. ITS further expanded the washer product line with the introduction of the ProCon Series washer which offers 90 standard configurations and is delivered in just 10 weeks.
