Fiberglass Mezzanines, Guardrails, Ladders and Stairway Systems

ITS is pleased to offer complete custom fabricated mezzanines, guardrails, ladders and stairway systems using structural fiberglass components. The fiberglass systems can be added to ITS equipment or any equipment in the plant.

Our structural fiberglass is produced through pultrusion using a combination glass, woven mats, and resins. Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) is stronger than many metals by weight, is non-magnetic, non-conductive, transparent to electromagnetic radiation, and chemically inert under many circumstances. All fiberglass components are fabricated and assembled using mechanical connections, so there is never a need for welding or hot permitting.

Guardrail Systems

Custom Designed and Fabricated Guardrail Systems

Custom designed and fabricated Fiberglass Handrail and Guardrail Systems to meet your specifications. Our Fiberglass Handrail and Guardrail components are safety yellow including FRP toe plate. Fiberglass Handrail Systems can be shipped in assembled sections up to 20’ long. Our handrail can be built for attachment to base mounts, side mounts, or direct attachment to existing structures or platforms.

Fiberglass Stairways and Ladders

Stairways and Ladders can be included with any structure or platform, or purchased to access existing on-site areas. All stairways arrive to you assembled and fabricated. Designs can accommodate any rise/run including steeper ships ladders.

Mezzanines

Every mezzanine is custom designed utilizing 3D software to accurately meet your application requirements. FRP mezzanines are completely assembled and tested prior to shipment to ensure quality and accuracy. Mezzanines are disassembled in a modular fashion for shipping, and match-marked for simple reassembly in the field. Mezzanines come standard with open mesh grating, but can easily be upgraded with closed-deck options. OSHA and IBC standards are always adhered to when designing custom platforms.
