Monorail Parts Washer Overview

Monorail parts washers can feature internal or external monorail mounting systems, depending on the customer’s specific application. For external mount applications, the monorail system sits above the washer system. The monorail and track are located outside of the enclosure of the washer and wash zones of the washer.  Only the part and/or part hanger will be washed with this type of system. With the external mount monorail system, the top of the washer will have an opening to the exterior of the washer canopy. For internal mount applications, the monorail system is located within the enclosure of the parts washer. This type of monorail system will allow the monorail and track be cleaned along with the parts and/or hangers. With the internal mount monorail system, the top of the washer will be completely closed.

Hangers can be manufactured to hold specific parts without scratching the part surface. Our monorail parts washers can accommodate a wide variety of part sizes and custom hanger designs. ITS can build stand-alone or inline systems for parts cleaning, phosphatizing, pre-paint cleaning and a variety of other processes.  Typical process stages may include: pre-wash, single or multiple wash stages, single or multiple rinse stages and ambient or heated blow-off. Typical products cleaned may include items such as metal stampings, machined components and part assemblies.
