Overview
ITS is now offering a vacuum transfer system used to convey the cans in mass from the exit of the washer to the entrance of the dry-off oven.
Features
- Rigid structural steel frame
- Vacuum plenum constructed of stainless steel to resist corrosion
- Conveyance via a plastic perforated flat top belt
- Assembly driven by a direct drive gearmotor
- Vacuum will be created via two (2) independent vacuum fans in conjunction with barometric damper assemblies to ensure uniform vacuum is maintained regardless of can pack loading.
- Frequency inverters for the vacuum fans for additional airflow adjustment and efficiency.
- The entire vacuum plenum/conveyor assembly will be vertically adjustable to accommodate various can heights via a manually adjusted jack screw system.
