Electrical Department Interconnect A
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
1. Prepare the work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
2. Perform duties of any Electrical Assembly position as required; assists in the electrical testing operations on sections or complete systems as needed.
3. Install conduit wire and electrical devices on industrial heating equipment and controls on a wide variety of standard and customized designed equipment to ITS and/or NEC standards.
4. Notify Electrical Supervisor of delays, problems, part shortages, etc.
5. Perform installation and/or repair work at customer location when needed.
6. Provide technical support and manpower to Quality Control department on testing of all cabinets as needed.
7. Check quality of job before handing over to Quality Control (Panel Shop, J/C, piping).
8. Plan electrical layout and wiring procedure and establishes written schedules and procedures for electrical control operations.
9. Check on jobs in progress to determine adherence to schedules; investigates delays and resolves problems as necessary. Provides guidance and instruction to alleviate problems and resolves as necessary. Assigns overtime work when necessary.
10. Maintain work area in an orderly and safe condition.
11. Attend classes or seminars to remain current on technical aspects of all phases of responsibility.

Education and/or Experience
• Must fulfill requirements to possess and/or be able to possess an active journeyman’s card and master electrician’s license in the State of Wisconsin.
• Related work experience in a Manufacturing environment, usually acquired through 5 years of exposure to electrical operations and heat processing equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
• Proven ability to install conduit wire and electrical devices on industrial heating equipment and controls to NEC standards.
• Mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to record and log information accurately.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a very fast paced, sometimes stressful environment and possess strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in verbal, written, or diagram form.

Electrical Department Interconnect B
Under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor, the Interconnect Team installs conduit wire and electrical devices on industrial heating equipment to produce quality products in an efficient and cost effective manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
