The Cabinet Washer is a universal system serving a wide variety of OEM cleaning applications.
The Cabinet Washer, designed for batch production, utilizes a powered rotary turntable. Applications for the Cabinet Washer include the general cleaning of parts placed in open wire baskets or frames for cleaning various sized casting fabrications or assemblies. For most cleaning applications, the Cabinet Washer System configurations include one or two stage units.
Cabinet washers are most commonly used for cleaning a wide variety of part types and sizes in a single compartment. They are typically manually loaded and unloaded and are an ideal for washing medium to large size parts with a low production requirement. These washers can be featured with multiple stages and cycle times are variable to meet the needs of the application. Cabinet washers are best suited for washing parts such as welded assemblies, machine components, engine blocks, engine heads, transmissions and other parts with unique geometries.
Design and Construction
The design of the cabinet washer is conducive to cleaning a wide variety of part sizes with unique geometries. Parts are placed on a table, which rotates to expose all part surfaces to a sprayed solution as they move past a stationary nozzle delivery assembly. If moisture removal is required, blow-off air is delivered from stationary assemblies in a like manner to the solution spray to expose all part surfaces to the blow-off air as the part is rotated.
The cabinet washer features a braced and reinforced rotating table that is door mounted. The cabinet door is hinged and provided with a latch and safety switch for operator safety. The topside of the rotating table is a heavy duty steel or stainless steel grid that provides a stable surface for the part to rest during the washing process. The entire table rotates on a center axis and is powered by means of a gear motor type drive assembly located on the exterior of the cabinet door.
